Fiji has a total land area of 18,333 square kilometers. There are two major islands: Viti Levu which is 10,429 square kilometers and Vauna Levu which is 5,555 Square kilometers. Nadi Airport is the main international gateway and Nausori near Suva, is also used as an international airport in Fiji. There are several domestic airports throughout the country and travel between the two main islands, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, is by air and sea.
The easiest way to get around Fiji is to fly with Fiji Link, the official domestic carrier. The Fiji Link is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fiji Airways. Fiji Link boasts a fleet of ATR 72-600, ATR 42-500 and De Havilland Twin Otter aircraft.
Flights from Nadi to Suva take 30minutes, 45 mins to Labasa and 1 hour 10 mins to Savusavu. Suva to Savusavu flights take 1hr and 40 mins to Labasa.
